Knappogue Castle 12 year old
Knappogue Castle boasts one of the most interesting stories in the history of Irish whiskey. Built in 1467, the castle cellars have held some of the world’s most sought-after whiskeys. The 12 year is the starting block from the Knappogue range and is an excellent expression of a true Irish single malt.
Our experts say: The nose is fresh, crispy and with a strong touch of malty sweetness. Some dried stone fruits, apples and roasted almonds. The taste is rich and spicy with a light notes of Christmas cake – a perfect way to finish a meal.
